I teach two groups of adults with general learning difficulties and for a while I've been searching for some comfortable triangular pencil grips to use with them. I'd seen some in animal shapes that weren't really adult - appropriate, but my search has just ended.
I found a pack of five for £3 - post free- on the Hemi-Help website. http://www.hemihelp.org.uk/support_us/shop/pencil_grips
Hemi Help helps children and young people with hemiplegia, a condition similar to that of a stroke, which affects one side of the body.
As you can see from the pic above, the design allows the pencil to be touched, but promotes a correct grip. Just what I wanted -and it supports a worthwhile charity too!
